For the general information, here's a few policy/position statements Tandy had for the masses at rainbowfest. Courtesy Kevin Darling and CIS: Pete =========================================================================== Date: 25-Oct-88 22:58 PDT From: Kevin Darling [76703,4227] Subj: CoCo-4 Pete, Re: usenet people and coco... What Tandy said at the fest roundtable was: 1. They see the CoCo as an alternative game machine to Nintendos etc. 2. They see the game market as good for another two years. 3. Therefore, the CoCo should last at least as long as the game market. 4. Just because it's a game machine doesn't mean it can't run or boot into OS-9 automatically. And that's pretty much their position.
