#R:hou2a:-27600:uiucuxc:33200005:000:889 uiucuxc!paul Mar 10 18:51:00 1984 Redbank is located yonder beyond the pale. HO is a very small town with even smaller trains. LZ used to be the Ronald Reagan Home for the Malignant Twits, but was re-tooled during the War to produce coffee urns. No one would really want to live there - the squirrels are mean and have reputations for dry-gulching small dogs. Honestly, what can you expect of a town that has no attack cats? No cupro-nickel barbed wire stores? Or wombat concentration camps? Oh yes, we've dealt with the wombat problem. They're so gullible, our agents infiltrated their organization within the week of their arrival. A few incidents, a little tainted money, some planted antelope droppings -- they were all deported to New Jersey less than a month later. "Good riddance," we said. Pardon me, the dragons are at the door again. Paul Pomes, ihnp4!uiucdcs!uiucuxc!paul University of Illinois, CSO

I guess that if you don't know where it is, you're not interested in renting the room... But seriously folks, uiuccsb!thielges raises a valid point here. PLEASE make the headers on your postings more descriptive. If your version of netnews has the capability to limit the distribution of an article, USE IT. This article should not have gone beyond New Jersey state lines. HO and LZ are AT&T-IS abbreviations for its building locations in Holmdel and Lincroft, respectively. Don't ask where the Z came from, I don't know and I work there! Holmdel, Lincroft and Red Bank are all in the Central Jersey area (i.e. that area which New Yorkers and North Jerseyans call "South Jersey" or "The Jersey Shore").
