Anyone out there in NET-Land have PASCAL, C, BASIC09, ooooooor Assembly source code for the Kermit protocol that runs under OS9 Lvl 2? Many of my coco binaries downloaded from the net are stuck in Ether-world until the source for a Kermit server comes my way. HELP!!! It doesn't have to be terribly sophisticated, just useable. Also some ACIA drivers for the MC6850 would be valuable. Kevin Houser houser@mcnc.org (919) 834 5467 "I'm goin' to stick to your ass like a pair of Fruit of th' Looms baby." -R. T.

>Thomas R Consi asks: >Does anyone know where I can get Kermit for a Color Computer 2 >running OS-9 level I ver. 2.00? Simmule Turner (who may or may not have USENet access, I forget) has done a lot of work on kermit. The latest version is available on the CoCo list, CIS, and Delphi, and maybe other places I don't know about. We *should* send it to Columbia. :-) I can't think of anything in there that's CoCo-3 specific. Well, there are a few things that might be. Hmm, will the Kreider libraries work for OS-9 Level I? (Or course they will, says 1/2 my brain. But, but... says the other. <Grin>) Um, does anyone know better than I do?

This version of kermit is compact enough to work under Level I as well as Level II OS9. Dave -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Long Live OS9! David J. The kermit archives at watsun.cc.columbia.edu (and the coresponding bitnet and 9-track tape service) should still contain the version I submitted years ago, unless it has been replaced by something better. Further improvements have been done by other people, and are available on compu$erve. Currently, I'm trying to get ahold of the other 2 ports of C-kermit 5a to OSK to get something merged into the offical version before 5a reaches the beta stage. -- blarson@usc.edu C news and rn for os9/68k! -- Bob Larson (blars) blarson@usc.edu usc!blarson Hiding differences does not make them go away.
