I had a STAR SG-10 printer and was very happy with it. The SG-10 has
been replaced with a newer model (NX-10 ?). I've heard that this
newer model had a better character set and was a little faster.
However, I sold my STAR and bought a OKIDATA Microline 192 plus. The 192
plus has a much better character set (both standard and NLQ). It is also
faster than the STAR printer (draft mode is 200cpi). I think the
Microline is normally more expensive than the STAR but I was able to
get a good deal.

The 192 plus is compatible with both the IBM Graphics Printer
(Epson-compatible) and the IBM Pro-writer.
