It is nice to see that there are folks out there with Model 4's still using the Model 4(p) Kermit program. I am preparing to release another version with some minor changes, and would like some input from the outside world. If you have some suggestions that are not completely personal preference type changes/enhancements, I would like to hear about them. Presently, I do not have a lot of time to spend working on this, but would still be interested in hearing your ideas. Please mail directly to me at the address below. ----- Gregg Wonderly Department of Computing and Information Sciences Oklahoma State University UUCP: {cbosgd, ea, ihnp4, isucs1, mcvax, uokvax}!okstate!gregg ARPA: gregg@A.CS.OKSTATE.EDU

Great, it's nice to see that someone is still improving model 4 kermit. How about changing the terminal filter/emulator so that it reads in the emulation data from a file. i.e. h19/dat would contain the info on how to be an h19 and vt100/dat would contain the info on how to be a vt100. I've seen a package off of compuserve that does this, is it possible to do this with kermit? -Rob
