I have heard that u can run os9 on a CoCo 2. Is this correct? If so, what do u need in the way of accessories, expansion bits etc. Also does anybody know how to get os9 in the uk and how much it will cost? I have just bought a CoCo2 with 64k and extended Basic which Tandy in the uk are selling off cheap (29 pounds). The ability to run os9 sounds almost too good to be true! 73s Gareth ----- -- Gareth Howell <howellg@idec.stc.co.uk> G6KVK @ IO91VX ICL Network Systems, Private Networks Business Centre London Road, Stevenage, Herts, England, SG1 1YB Tel:+44 (0)438 738294 howellg%idec%ukc@mcvax.uucp, idec!howellg@seismo.CSS.GOV

Yes, OS9 is available for the Color Computer 2. I'm not sure how you'd get it in the UK, but you should be able to order it through Tandy as they are marketing it. All you need to run OS9 is a 64K Color Computer and a single disk drive. I think you'll find though that more memory, another floppy, or better yet, a hard disk, are essential if you want to be serious about OS9 on the CoCo. Hope this helped.
