Hi; I just recently got the HiRes Graphics board for my Tandy 4P, and
I was wondering if anyone out there has managed to get the library of
graphics routines included with the board to work with any language
besides the FORTRAN they are intended for. I write my 'serious'
programs in Assembly (Pro-MRAS) or C (Pro-MC), so I rather resent being
stuck in BasicG if I want to use my new board!!

They give you examples in FORTRAN, but the code "standard" Microsoft
linkable library format. Thus it will work with any Microsoft compiler.
Unfortunately, there is a severe shortage of such compilers unless you
got to CP/M and I'm not sure if Microsoft still sells CP/M compilers.

The Microsoft compilers that I know of (compatible ones) are:
BASIC (MBASIC in CP/M)
Macro Assembler (as far as I know the only Tandy version of this
	was for the Model 1!!)
FORTRAN
Pascal (only CP/M, not TRSDOS)
C (CP/M only again.....)

If anyone has better info please post it! All of the above comes from
what I can remember of old Tandy catalogs and old magazine articles...
