Hi, I've heard alot about EPSON upgrades but does any one know how to upgrade the 10X to get it to print the IBM charater set and graphics. I have found that this printer is very good and would not like to go out and fork over some more money for something that is IBM compatible. Thanxs in advance. I'm afraid you're out of luck, though my information is old. (If anyone knows otherwise, I'd love to know about it, too.) When I discovered the "venetian blind effect" on the Gemini's graphics, I called Star Micronics (the manufacturer) and talked with their tech support folks. (This was probably two years ago.) They said that they were coming out with an Epson-compatible version, but that there was no way to modify my existing 10X to be compatible. ... And they had no plans to develop an upgrade kit. >Terry Tanski - Programmer/Analyst @ Athabasca University +---------------------------------------------------------------+ | Dave Tutelman | | Physical - AT&T - Lincroft, NJ | | Logical - ...ihnp4!mtuxo!mtunb!dmt | | Audible - (201) 576 2442 | +---------------------------------------------------------------+
