I have a question about the Lobo-Max 80 (TRS Mod II workalike). I have a pair of DS/DD 8" drives. They were manufactured by Magnetic Peripherals (a subsidiary of Control Data) for NCR. Apparently they were used in a cash register system. I talked to a guy at Shugart (they bought out the whole mess just to complicate things) and he said they were equivalent to shugart SA 850's (I think.. Just off the top of my head). But he also thought that the pin out might be different. Well, I never heard from him again and would like suggestions from anyone on what to do. I'd really like to hook these monsters up.
