(I'm new to comp.sys.tandy) Are there still numbers of TRS-80 mod 1/3/4 owners out there? I'm sorry to hear that 80-micro is history; I remember when it was at its height and averaged over 200 pages of good mod 1/3 information an issue. I grew up as a Mod 3 hacker; those were the days..... I still have my Mod III w/ four drives, modem, voice syn, two printers, tape amp, and hundreds of programs (many of which I wrote). I still use SuperScriptsit for WPing and occasionally play games now and then. I still maintain that Volcano Hunter is one of the best graphic adventure games I've seen on a PC. But most of my computer time I spend on Berkeley's mainframes. Well, you gotta go on....... So, are there a large number of users still out there? Are there any good Mod 1/3/4 BBSs left in the world? What's the deal? For nostaligic reasons I'd like to keep up with this. Anybody who's interested in reminiscing about the good old days or swapping programs please E-mail to aalto@garnet.berkeley.edu.... -Rolf Aalto-

I dunno if there are numbers... but I still got one... I only play games on it though. I used to run a BBS on it, but hard drives for IBM's are so much cheaper than for TRS-80's that I just had to move... And now I'm running out of space on the IBM... but, such is life...
