[comp.sys.tandy] C Compiler

The MicroSoft C Compilers through Version 3 definately worked well on the
2000.  Tandy's R&D group used Model 2000s and MicroSoft C for product 
development until we replaced the 2000s with 3000s, and 4000s.

Later version of the compiler probably work as well, but of course the 
graphics libraries supplied with Quick C probably won't like the 2000s
video.
