[comp.sys.tandy] VT-100 terminal emulation for TRS Model III wanted

peckar@wfooff.dec.com (Mike DTN: 242-2853) (06/11/88)

Hi.
I have a TRS model III which I have been using at home as VT terminal
to talk to my system at work. I am currently using XTERM, which gives me VT-52
emulation, but is not satisfactory for my needs.
The big problem is that the model III has a 64 col. screen, and since I
use the terminal to do a lot of reading, the wrap-around of the last few
characters of the 80 col. texts I read makes my eyes go gaga.
A fellow deccie has told me that he wrote an emulator several years ago
which emulates VT-132, and simulates 80 col.s on the 64 col. screen.
He has since lost that program, but he told me he posted it here a few
years ago. If you have this software, which was written by Mike Leibow, I would
very much like a copy, and would reumbure any postage/disk costs most
graciously.
If you know of any other terminal emulation software which provides 80
column emulation on the 64 column model III, and VT-100 or better emulation,
please send me a reply at:

Note: I am not a subscriber to this newsgroup, so I will not see any replies
posted to comp.sys.tandy. If you have problems sending me mail, drop me a
card at my home address or give me a buzz.
	Thanks in advance.

Mike.
