Members of the Tandy newsgroup: I own a Tandy 1000 tx (sure old model right?). I bought some cheap software under the title of Thunder Mountain and the tandy system I have wouldn't run it. On the other hand the 1000 sl will run it. The other 100% compatables run it including Amstrad, Franklin, and other clones of off names. The strange thing about it is that it had a setup for the tandy system. Strange.....anyone know of a bug? perphaps with there software? Any response appreciated...thanks. The tx does have an Intel 80286 rather than an 8086 or 8088, and there are a few instructions which behave differently. If your software won't run on another 80286 system, there's your culprit. Check any Intel 80286 software manual for the differences, one which comes to mind is a different value for the SP register when you push it.
