When responding to articles concerning the 1000-ex or the 1000-hx, please note that these machines require Tandy "plus" style expansion cards. The "plus" connector is a socket type rather than the standard card edge and the form factor is, how shall we say, rather small. An adapter card is available for using any "plus" style card in a standard slot IBM PC clone. I think that the original poster of this article is concerned with locating a "plus" style MIDI card, or some sort of "plus" to standard bus breakout box. Has anyone out there seen a "plus" to standard bus expansion chassis?
