I, too, have been trying to figure this out. I would like to take my machine up to 640K. I have found two possibilities: 1. Buy the 128K expansion kit from Tandy (~$75) which mounts in those 6 available sockets on the motherboard. Be aware that if you ever expand >640K, this 128K will be accessable in only two other memory configurations. 2. Buy the dedicated memory board which fits in the dedicated memory bus slot and move the 512K from the MB to this board, then add on 512K to this board for 1Meg total. (Skip 640K). This configuration will "make" the memory faster. If left up to me, I will skip the 128K expansion and go right to 1Meg, because the 6-chip arrangement sounds a little hokey to me. Unfortunately, this choice is up to my financial advisor (father)... :-) Chris Roueche University of Colorado at Boulder (Ski U.)
