Is there anyone out there that has experience with a Model 16/6000 and a Quantum Model 2080 drive (80 meg 8") ? I inherited a Model 16 (beefed up to Model 6000 mods) and two 2080 drives using the Tandy 8x300 controller. This controller only supports 1024 cylinders which limits the usefullness of this drive to 62 meg instead of 80 meg. The later WD1010 controller can't be used as it clocks at the wrong transfer rate. Does anyone have any help in obtaining access to the whole disk? Ron Light ....texbell!vaxnix!ron
