Hi,
I have had a Model II for a while now. It was originally
purchased in '81. I am just curious to know if anyone is using one, and
what type of software you are using. Also, is anyone willing to trade
software, or just talk about the Model II and its uses in "todays" world.
I have Cobol, Basic, Scripsit 2.0, VidTex, and Profile Plus.

We have 5 here in the office. I am using them now almost exclusively as terminals for my *nix machines (We have two Tandy 12's converted to model 6000's plus a 3B1 and a Zenith 386). The program I am running is "Console" which is a freebie from TRS but seems to be unknown to most of their folk. It makes the MODII behave exactly as the console does on a MOD12,16,6000. I have a large number of expansion drives. I am advised the current value of these devices is a negative number. However, if you should want some I will send them to you if you pay the freight.
