[] Hello, netfolks! I have on hand an old TRS-80 model 100 laptop. It has only 8K of RAM. There are sockets inside for 3 additional 8K modules. Radio Shack sells 8K chips for the model 102, but do not have the model 100 RAM anymore. Travelling Software have them but at $50 apiece (!). Is there any way I can add RAM to this beast for a reasonable price? E.g., can I get them elsewhere, perhaps used, or perhaps modify conventional chips (low power CMOS static RAM) to fit the model 100? Thanks for any advice.
