Help! I have a Tandy 1000tx with installed 1200 bod modem. The other day I started having a problem- when I used it to hook into the BU system, (I went through the deskmate telecommunications area) I got garbage on the screen. the pc connected to the BU network just fine, but once linked, I got lines of garbage characters (Machine/assmebler code???) that just kept filling up the screen. I thought it might have been a problem with a glitch in deskmate, but I tried the origional disk and got the same results. When I tried to log onto Prodigy & PC LINK, I was unable to- the screen on Link froze, and Prodigy gave me an "internal error". My pc is sitting on my desk, with a 13" tv on the other end of the desk. Also, one other interesting fact- My portable stereo , which was sitting on the top shelf of the desk, is having problems with the tape deck.. Could interference from the tv screwed up my modem and my tape player?? I've had them arranged like this for a number of months and never had a problem.... any help would be appreciated!!thanks! jinara
