I am new to this newsgroup. My wife has Tandy 1000XL.
I would like to bung in the memory upgrade, a serial card,
and a hard drive card for an external. (even an internal
HD would be okay). Obviously I do not want to spend the
outrageous Rook Shak prices. Soooo...
Could people out there in netland tell me what other
merchandise I can use.
Specifically :
What is the serial #, memory speed etc. of the
32K memory chips.
What IBM compatible cards can I use for the serial line
What IBM compatible cards can I use for the hard drive
controller card.
If I use a HD controller card, what hardware jiggling, if any,
do I need to do ?
