I have a Tandy DMP 106 printer (cheap, but working) which I have used for several years, but using only the serial interface. I now would like to use it on a PC-type machine's parallel port, but it doesn't work for me. I have the switches set ON/OFF/OFF/OFF (IBM mode, etc.) A print operation seems to send the data to the printer, but it doesn't do anything. (The PC thinks it went somewhere.) The behavior is the same with different cables and different types of PCs. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience (positive or negative) with this printer?
