I bought my Dad a memory plus upgrade board for his 1000 EX a while back. It came with 128K of memory on the board and sockets for another 256K to fully populate the 1000 EX to 640K. Anayway, I went to Radio Shack the other day to see about buying the additional memory chips (I guess there should be 8-9) and they wanted $150 for the kit. Too rich for my blood, but this shouldn't be that hard. Does anyone know how to do it yourself? I don't have access to my Dad's machine, so I need to know what chips to buy and how to change anything else on the board necessary. If any of you netters out there can give me some pointers, I'd sure appreciate it. Randy Heuer att!pancho!grh
