A friend of mine just asked me to find the pinout for the original TRS 80 monitor. I believe he said it was a DIN plug. Anyone with this information may send it to me over the net or FAX it to me if it's a drawing. Jerry Durand Durand Interstellar, Inc. jdurand@cup.portal.com FAX: 408 356-4659

There are 3 wires in the cable. One wire is a common ground. One wire is 5 volts to go to the opto-isolator card in the monitor. The 3rd is straight video. Shouldn't be to hard to figure out. Find the ground, find the 5 volts, and the 3rd is video. If you need to hook up a standard video monitor get an mono cassette din plug to two rca plugs. One will have the video. Cut the other off. Cheap, quick and dirty. -- Bill Vermillion - UUCP: {uiucuxc, hoptoad, petsd}!peora!tarpit!bilver!bill : bill@bilver.UUCP
