[comp.sys.tandy] Looking for Model 100/102 Information...

krf@earth.ral.rpi.edu (Keith R. Fieldhouse) (12/16/89)

I recently purchased a Model 100 (the notebook sized laptop) for its
stated strengths: simple on-the-go word processing, quick dial in
access to my main computer etc.

Knowing that's it been on the market for a while I presume that some
software may be available for it. Are their any archives/mail lists/interest
groups for the Model 100 on the net. I saw mention of a Compu-Serve group
but I don't have access to CS. Is the software available ther available
anywhere else?

Someone mentioned the Magazine "Portable 100". I'd be interested in
subscribing if someone could post the address/subscription info.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Portable 100 info:

        Portable 100
        Circulation Department
        P.O. Box 428
        Peterborough, NH 03458-9990

You can also call them at 1-603-924-9455. U.S. subscription costs $24.97 per
year (11 issues).

If you have a Model 100, all you need to have access to CompuServe is a
cable and a subscription (you already have a built-in modem). There is a
huge number of files there. It is an old phone number, but try 800-848-8990
to see about getting a subscription.
