[comp.sys.tandy] MOUSE TROUBLE

KUDLACEK@kuhub.cc.ukans.edu (12/27/89)

Help!! I recently purchased Tandy serial mouse for my
Tandy 1000A. My serial card (I bought it atComputer Land on sale)
has a male DB-9 out and a male DB-25 out also (I use the DB-25 for
modem) The software I got from Radio Shack to install the mouse
MOUSE.COM and CPANEL.COM explain that "MOUSE DRIVER NOT INSTALLED --
MICROSOFT MOUSE NOT FOUND!" In other words it is not working...
Is this the correct software??? I ask this because the system
says MICROSOFT MOUSE in the eroor message.

Any tips would be appreciated,

Thanks

Kale

Most mouse driviers default to COM1: port unless otherwise specified. Is
your mouse connected to COM1: or COM2: ?
