[note: This same message was posted from another site, but didn't appear to make it out to the 'real world'. If your site receives two copies of this message I apologise] I just purchased a Model 100 'Disk/Video interface' from a sale at my local Tandy store (for a *very* reasonable cost) .. However, the main system disk that came with it appears to be defective .. For the time being, I have managed to read the system disk on my Model I (using Super Utility +) and have copied it to a new disk that is bootable on the Model 100 disk/video interface, however, it is not 100% ok and not everything works ok (for example, I can use DISK BASIC and save and load BASIC files, but cannot save/load text or binary files [because the system disk is corrupt]) How can I get another copy of the system disk? (I currently have version 01.01.00.200 I do believe -- Sorry, I don't have the disk with me at the moment). (The disk has both the M100 and M200 versions of the format/backup software) Is there any other exciting software that I can get for my 'video/disk' interface? -- Since the last posting of this message I wrote a small program to allow you to get 172k per data disk instead of 163k by unallocating the system tracks. My next trick (when I get a working copy of the SYSTEM DISK will be to modify the system to accept 80 track drives) -- Could some 100 user out there help me out?? .. please! .. Tandy Australia can't help me since it is not a big "supported" product down here. Please post all replies to this newsgroup, NOT as replies, since my account here will expire soon, but I will regularly check this newsgroup. (Try to leave a voice-phone number as well so I can contact you) Many thanks. Jo
