/* ---------- "How much memory on a 3000HD motherb" ---------- */
Does anyone out there know how much memory I can put on the
motherboard of my Tandy 3000HD? When I bought it, two of the
four banks were filled with 256K chips. Over the summer I upgraded
to 640K by adding 2 banks of 64K chips (at the suggestion of a
Radio Shack Computer Center employee who'd never even heard of a
3000HD).
Thanks in advance,

You can only put up to 640k on the motherboard. If you require more
memory, you will have to utilize AT compatible memory expansion
boards and use up I/O slots as needed. I know that the Everex, AST
Rampage, and Tandy memory expansion boards all work fine in a Tandy
3000 HD machine.
