I was wondering if there is anyone that has modified the boot ROM and XENIX so that you can use one of the RS232 ports for the console? The reson for this is I have been playing with modifying a HeathKit robot so that I use the model 16 to control the robot. However converting a full model 16 to a portable environment is awkward at best with the original keyboard and monitor. If I can use one of the serial ports then I can use a small portable as the console. Any ideas or suggestions would be helpfull. Thanks in advance. Rich Bavier attmail!rbavier
