Ron, I can't help you any with your hard disk drive questions, but I can with the terminal problem. I have a TRS-80 Model 4 that I used to use all the time as a terminal. I emu lated a VT-100 using a program from The Alternate Source that allows over 200 different terminal emulations. THe communications program I used was the COMM program that came on the TRSDOS 6.2 disk. The program works by setting up a filter and then filtering both the input and output from the communications port to make it conform to the terminal that you are emulating. The program even lets you define your own terminal type if it is not one that is already supported. If I remember correctly, the program cost me about $19.00. The address is: The Alternate Source 704 North Pennsylvania Avenue Lansing, MI 48906 (517) 482-8270 These people have always been very helpful when I have dealt with them in the past. If for some reason you can't get the program, let me know and maybe we can arrange something. Also, I have some PD stuff for both the model III and 4 that I could send you once you get your computer working as a terminal. Curt Tatman (Classic) CETATMAN@MIAVX1
