Hi there I too recently purchased a Tandy System MODEL 12 , which has been upgraded to a MODEL 16B, it has 768K of memory and has 2 * 1.2MB 8 inch drives. the only problem is that I dont have any software for it, and I whish to get it up and running!!!! is there any one out there who could help.... ie.... Does anyone know where to get TRS-DOS for 8" drives for model 16B's ,i ve also seen that it has another operating system...could anyone clarify this????? any info would be appreciated... Thanks, L. I assume that you are looking for TRSDOS 4.2. Unless you are writing your own assembly, the tools (languages) available were real dogs. In short using TRSBOD in the 16 bit mode was slower than TRSDOS in the 8 bit mode. Does anyone know if TRS still makes this stuf available? If not, are we still bound by the original liscences? - Rick
