/* ---------- "Tandy 1000 + coprocessor?" ---------- */
Does anyone remember if the Tandy 1000 or 1000A has a socket for an 8087
coprocessor chip? It is not local so I just can't pop off the cover and look.
/* End of text from gak1:comp.sys.tandy */

The Tandy 1000 (25-1000) does not have a socket for a 8087.
The Tandy 1000A (25-1000A) does have a socket for a 8087.
Most Tandy 1000HDs (25-1001) have a socket for a 8087.

Do not rely on the label on the front of the case. The label with the
serial number on the bottom of the unit is the only place the 'A' will
be present.
