[comp.sys.tandy] Extra memory expansion on 1000HX

Hi,
I have just bought a 'Memory Plus' expansion board for my Tandy 1000HX and I
note that there is room for an extra 256k expansion on the board. Being a
student, I wondered if anyone out there had this expansion and could tell me
what the chips are, in order to save me a bit of money.

Alternatively, anyone with a bit of electronics expertise might be able to
help me. Here are the details :

These chips make up a total expansion of 256K and there are 8 of them. I
make that 32K each. They are 16 pin and that's about all I know about them.
On the board, there are some other memory chips which appear to make up the
128K that this board makes up. These are 18 pin and are something like :

			-----------------------
    LH2464 - 12
   Sharp - Japan
   8932 1 D
     			-----------------------

However, these obviously aren't the right chips since they have a different
number of pins.

The computer is a 16 bit computer, I don't know if this is relevant and the
chips inside the computer are the same as the ones on the board at the
moment.

I think I've given you all the information I've got. All I need is the chip
codes and, if possible, where to get them. Any help would be much
appreciated.

Thanks very much,

				Alex

    Thanks.
