[comp.sys.tandy] chips for memory expansion

beech@ms.uky.edu (Wayne Beech) (06/15/90)

I am wanting to increase the memory on a tandy 1000 and now have more details
than in my previous posting. the 1000 has 128K on the mother board and there
is a half-populated 256K Memory Expansion Board (catalog number 25-1004).
does anyone know what chips to purchased to add the other 128K to this board
and also where to buy them and approx. price.

thanks,
wayne beech

You will need to jumper E2 to E1 on the 256K Memory Expansion card and purchase
18 4164-200 RAM chips (64K x 1, 200ns or faster). I would post an add in
'misc.wanted'. The chips should cost you less than one dollar each.
