I am wanting to increase the memory on a tandy 1000 and now have more details than in my previous posting. the 1000 has 128K on the mother board and there is a half-populated 256K Memory Expansion Board (catalog number 25-1004). does anyone know what chips to purchased to add the other 128K to this board and also where to buy them and approx. price. thanks, wayne beech -- ============================================================================= UUCP : ukma!beech BITNET: beech@ukma DOMAIN: beech@ms.uky.edu

You will need to jumper E2 to E1 on the 256K Memory Expansion card and purchase 18 4164-200 RAM chips (64K x 1, 200ns or faster). I would post an add in 'misc.wanted'. The chips should cost you less than one dollar each. +-----------------------------------+ | Charles R.
