Firstly I have a question. Does anybody know the block size and number of blocks to use for a 10 Meg Bernoulli with tar on the 6000. Secondly I have a 6000 that I would be willing to part with. Here is the deal. It has been my back up system for some time. It would be perfect for someone else to use for a backup system if they like as I don't have an extra set of OS disks and development systems disks. Although I may have have the development disks for 3.0 Just can't remember. I also may have 3.1 opsys disks but I know I don't have extra manuals for either of these. Anyway on to the hardware.... 1 Tandy 6000 (16b upgraded to 6000)... 1 3 port serial card 1 High Res graphics card 1 Bernoulli box interface card 1 40 Meg Miniscribe Primary disk. (I had to modify the boot rom to allow for the diagnostic time of this disk but it works great). 1 Meg of Ram. If you are interested I will modify the CPU board to use up to 7 meg of ram in fact I will probably do that just for fun anyways. In that case I will sell the system with 2 Meg of ram if you are interested. You must be using the operating system 3.2 or above to use the larger memory space. My primary system runs with 2 meg at the moment with my mods. The z80 memory has been replaced with 150ns memory and is running at 0 wait states.... < I/O access significantly faster>. I also have lots of miscellaneous extras like an extra Z80 motherboard, a 2 drive bernoulli box (2 10 meg drives .. drive 2 is a little flakey but drive 1 works wonderfully), about 6 10 meg bernoulli cartridges, and a ton of software. Who knows what else may be laying around. At any rate if you are interested in this system or any of the other stuff please email me and let me know what you'd like and what you are willing to pay. If the price is too low I'll just keep it as a backup system. Later... Monty
