Ugh, is it a pain!!! The pins which you have to insert into the bottom of the machine are very fragile, and it's very important to keep the styrofoam block to protect them whenever you detach the cable from the M100. I went through two cables because the pins kept breaking off (and I'm not a whiz with the soldering iron :-{ ). Much nicer is the cable for the Portable Computer Support Group's (discon- tinued) Chipmunk drive, which takes 3.5 disks and is very easy to attach and detach...no exposed pins to worry about.
