I replaced my 5.25 with a 3.5 years ago, and have had only two problems that you ought to be aware of: ...I did a straight one-for-one swap-out of the drives. I did, however, have to manufacture a cable, as the 360's have the card-edge connector, and the 720's have the pin-hole (AMP?) connectors. Most 3.5's now come with the requisite adapter, so this is no longer a problem. Secondly, if all you want to do is read an already formatted disk in drive b:, (the 720, and an unlikely scenario), then you can do that with no alterations. However, if you want to format a disk in drive b:, you'll have to use a driver, called Driver.Sys. The line in your config.sys file will probably look like: device = driver.sys /d:1 /f:2 After these two problems are resolved, you're good to go.
