jmh@coyote.uucp (John Hughes) (10/20/90)
The moondog mail-based file server is due to go on-line 27 October 1990. The emphasis is on software for the Tandy 16/6000 family. A collection of hardware and software notes and documentation will also be available. All sources are in tar form, and will be shipped as 12-bit compressed uuencoded packets. To get a listing of what's available and how to get it, send mail to: noao!coyote!moondog!server in the body of the message, put just the one line: send info To request assistance or ask questions about the server, send mail to archive at the same address (archive is a person, server is a shell script). Sorry, there's no uucp access planned for the immediate future, since moondog shares its phone line with some other stuff. If you have some software that you would like to make available to other 16/6000's owners, please contact archive to make arrangements for transfer. Technical notes, tips, and comments are also welcome. -- ============================================================================== John M. Hughes | jmh@coyote.UUCP | Programmer at large, P.O.
