I'm having all kinds of fun with 8" floppies on a 6000 system. I'm trying to install the 3.02 developement system (actually, I'm trying to reinstall it, but I don't care to talk about it...). When I attempt to access the diskettes, I get a hard error BE10, at track 0 side 1, sector 2. On each disk that fails the error is the same. A friend also has the dev. system, and his machine gets the *exact* same error message with his disks. His diskettes also produce the same error on my box. What the hell is going on? Why can I read any one of the other 50 diskettes I have just fine, but not the factory Tandy diskettes? Before you say it's the Tandy diskettes, get this: I have backup copies of the upgrade diskettes, and.... that's right - the same exact error. Am I missing something here, or what? Any and all help would be GREATLY appreciated. -John Hughes -- | John M.
