[comp.sys.tandy] Wanted: LDOS 6.3

quimby@madoka.its.rpi.edu (Tom Stewart) (01/09/91)

I'm trying to find a clean, or non-protected copy of LDOS 6.3. (Every
copy I have died when I replaced the 4P with a 4D.)

If you have a copy of this monster, PLEASE let me know...I'd hate to
have to toss a working machine just because I can't get a working OS
for it.

Much thanks,

(mailer disfunctional, replies to: quimby@mts.rpi.edu, quimby@rpitsmts.bitnet)

MYSOSYS is alive and well somewhere in Virginia. You can get a copy
from them, plus lots of other software. I don't have their address
(sorry). Anybody out there know it?

Why not just call MISOSYS? Then you can not only get an extra copy,
but you can upgrade to LS-DOS 6.3.1. Call 1-800-MISOSYS.

It's MISOSYS not MYSOSYS, and their address is;

MISOSYS, INC.
P.O. Box 239
Sterling, VA, 22170-0239
United States of America

703-450-4181 (normal)
800-647-6797 (orders only)

LDOS is now called LSDOS, and the most recent version was
announced in MISOSYS' Quartlerly a few issues back.

LSDOS is not protected and never was. - Its all just a myth at least
according to Roy Soltoff of Misosys who markets it now. If you want
a copy you can buy it from him. If you have a genuine original that
is faulty, I am sure you can get a replacement for a minimal charge.
