This is a repost of an earlier message which unfortunately had the wrong reply address. My apologies. Hi, I need to buy and sell. A relative has a TANDY 1000 which seems to have bitten the dust -- I believe there is a bad chip within. The computer works fine for a while but after time it will probably crash. Anyway, this computer has a 20 M hard drive which certainly seems worth something. To have the computer commercially repaired is out of the question, so I would be interested in hearing from anyone who thinks they could use it and what price they would offer for it (or just the hard drive). Note, we are not out to get every last cent for this thing, but some kind of fair compensation seems in order. The computer has 512 K. Anyway, if you are interested, please post me a note. I also need to BUY a track feeder for a Radio Shack DWP 210 printer (a model not made anymore). I know this is a shot in the dark, but if someone has one they can sell it would save me having to buy a brand new printer. Thanks.
