Hello, I am attempting to run an inventory control program sold by the Real World Company on a Bernoulli Box attached to an IBM PC/AT. Unfortunately, I occasionally get a "SETBLOCK FAILED" error message when I run this application or else the system crashes. I contacted the customer service depts. at both IOMEGA (the manufacturers of the Bernoulli Box) and Real World Company and BOTH deny that the "SETBLOCK FAILED" Error message is associated with their software and/or hardware. I am able to run a dBASE III Plus application program off of the Bernoulli Box with no problem. I ran the IOMEGA diagnostic program (version 6.21) which showed that the status of the adapter board and add-on driver was OK--there was an error message for the boot ROM (this is not surprising since I did not format the 20 Mb Bernoulli Cartridge to be bootable). Any suggestions or comments on this problem would be appreciated. Since I do not get to read this newsgroup that often, please reply to either roy@elbereth.rutgers.edu or hroy@zodiac.rutgers.edu If there is sufficient interest, I'll post a sumary of the responses.
