I am trying to install GK2000, DI3000, metafiles and associated device
drivers on a HP 9000 550 with Tectronix 4113a, 4112a, and 4107
terminals.
History: First I compiled the drivers. After a few modifications
(removing all the underscores from the C-subroutines names, switching
the byte order, aliasing getarg), everything compiled. Then I tried
to run the demos. They all worked fine except I get a core dump after
each one if I hit return when the demo stops. If I use anything else,
the demo terminates normally.
I decided to install the GK2000 next. I installed it and
tried it's demo programs. The first one worked (the PVI one), the
second one choked and said:
open error for error msg input file
STOP *** GK2000 system error. Abnormal termination.
the third one choked and said:
font file number 1 data/simplex.fnt not found.
STOP *** GK2000 system error. Abnormal termination.
I checked the file data/simplex.fnt and it was there and looked ok.
All the rest of the test programs had similar problems.
Is there anyone out there who has the same machine and has
successfully installed GK2000, DI3000 and associated driver programs?
