i am in definite need of a basic to c translator. i'm not anticipating that there is one capable of translating rocky mountain basic to c, but i would like verification of that. if there are sufficient replies, i'd be glad to post a summary. thanks, ================================================================ s cowles arpa: esd!scowles@lll-lcc.arpa bitnet: esd!scowles%lll-lcc.arpa@wiscvm.bitnet uucp: {seismo,ihnp4,gatech}!lll-lcc!esd!scowles att: +1 415 423 0929

I remember seeing a product a year or two ago that was called (I think) BTOC but I don't remember the name of the company. sorry. If I can track it down, I'll post a note to this space. Stay tuned to your favorite channel, medium, or fortune teller... Everett Kaser Hewlett-Packard Co. Corvallis, OR

I was just looking through the August issue of "Dr. Dobb's Journal" and on p. 122 there is a discussion of translating BASIC to C (in this case MS-BASIC(tm) to MS-C 4.0(tm) using a program called BASTOC from JMI Software (PO Box 481, Spring House, PA 19477.) You may wish to peruse the article and their feelings about the process. This is not a recommendation for the product, and I am in no way affiliated with JMI Software.
