My apologies to anyone who's seen this before. It didn't get to many sites the first time, and I decided to wait for school to start before reposting... I have an HP Integral PC I'd like to sell. The basic unit includes: Electoluminescent screen (adjustable angle) Integral HP Thinkjet printer UNIX kernel in ROM 512K RAM 3-1/2" floppy drive Mouse and keyboard that fold up with the unit to form a ~25-lb. transportable with handle. I've added the following: 1M RAM board (total: 1.5M RAM) Most UNIX commands in ROM (csh, kermit, cc, vi, awk, nroff, etc.) System V kernel upgrade RS232 port board 1200-baud integral modem (although there is no slot left for it the way I have it configured; I use the RS232 port and an external modem). Datacomm software for the integral modem Multiplan MemoMaker 13 floppies (plus backups) with man pages, graphics tools, a game or two, diagnostics, utilities, and any commands not in ROM. That's over $8000 worth of stuff. I'm asking $3500 (hey, you could buy it and use it for spare parts for another PC, if you wanted, and still come out ahead), plus your favorite shipping (UPS, USPS, Federal Express). I'll also entertain serious offers. Why am I doing it (after, all, there ain't nuthin wrong with the machine)? I bought it almost on a dare, to make a productive UNIX environment without a hard disk. I've done that, so I'm bored :-) and I want to start over. Contact me at home or at work, via phone or e-mail: glenn kapetansky ...ihnp4!ihu1m!gsky (312) 979-5624 (work) (312) 743-5304 (home)
