Hello: I just suscribed to the network because of this problem so please excuse me if it has been answered lately. We are running a sun, microvax, 3B2 (300 and 600) computer cluster with a newly aquired AT&T 495 Laser Printer on the sun/vax side running via the Berkeley 4.3 unix lp command. Right now it is only able to print text via the cryptic C filter that I hacked out. We are interested in a TROFF filter (written in C) which translates to HP LaserJet (not the plus) command set. I'm not really interested in reinventing the wheel if anyone has already tackled this one!!!! If you have a version or are interested in mine when I finish please drop me a note.
