The Starbase to Xwindows converter is a Starbase driver that sends
Starbase primitives as Xlib calls, just as a plotter driver writes HPGL
or a terminal driver writes escape sequences.  It is part of the
standard Starbase product, and ships with series 300 HP-UX updates of
release 5.5 or later and series 800 updates of release 1.1 or later.
The driver is documented in the "Starbase Device Drivers Library Manual".

The version that is in releases less than 6.2 on series 300 or 3.0 on
series 800 does most output functions, but few input functions.  The
version in those releases will have almost all Starbase functions,
with the most notable exception being color map setting operations.
All of the 2D and 3D transformations, viewing models and such are
supported by all releases of the driver.
