Does anyone have Kermit for the HP3000? I have tried searching for it by sending messages to CU20B.Columbia.EDU but have yet to receive any acknowledgement from that host. (I dont even get "bounce" messages) If any one has it, my host cannt receive binaries, but I do have UUDECODING abilities.

I can think of two places to look for media based kermit for the
3000 - one, as you've started with already, is Columbia University.
They sell tapes I think for $25 with source code and such for any
of their ported systems. I'd personally try the paper or voice route.
Second, the International Users Group of HP ('Interex'), based in
Mountain View, California, has contributed tapes and I'd bet they
have Kermit on one of them. You can reach them (according to
my records) at 415-968-3443.
Good hunting,

I have kermit for the 3000 both source, code and docs
the source is written in SPL i have compiled the source and it
matches the supplyed code. we don`t use it much beacuse we use
HP advacedlink and reflections for tranfers. Connect mode isn't
much and it's 2-3 years old. If you want it you can have it.
