If you are using the video card with the builtin terminal emulator (no windows), you might have the wrong number of lines. Some video cards are 47 lines, some are 48. The wrong number of lines really confuses editors. wunder

Try the termtype "300h". Do NOT use the termtypes "hp*", because curses thinks they are 80x24.
