I have two questions, the first may be easy. Has anyone mapped X11 colors as seen on an HP 98785 CRT to Paintjet NTSC color codes? Secondly, we have on occasion gotten "maintenence track full" errors on some of our CS80 disks (7914,45,58). Is there some way to clear these under HP-UX that does not involve calling a local service rep? mjb. mjb@hoosier.utah.edu "How he's going to drive like that is not too clear to me!"

Your disk probably is probably fine and still has lots of spares, but the drive on occassion cannot log special maintenance information. I think the service rep is most appropriate - using a special program (CS/80 exerciser) they can clear the logs with no ill effect to your data. Paul Perlmutter
