We are in the process (read 'received quote from HP sales rep) of upgrading
from our HP3000 Series 70 to a Spectrum 950 (955 when available). We do quite
a bit of bisynch datacomm using RJE and the 3780 protocol.
It is my understanding that HP does not support the RJE subsystem on the Spectrum boxes (and may never). Does anyone know of any third party alternativesfor this application ?
My only other alternative is to run RJE off of one of the Micro 3000's we have
NS'ed to the 70. THey are overburdened as it is. Any help would be appreciated.
